Today, on my way to the office, I was listening to FM and there was it, same type of DJs and same type of jokes and same type of songs. And again that loop of “Song – DJ – Commercial break – Song – DJ – Commercial break – Song – DJ – Commercial break” ….
But today i heard something new on FM and that was not said by any DJ, that was not any song that clicked me … it was a commercial, yes a commercial – the thing that i hate the most on FM now suddenly clicked me – That was TELENOR advertisement “TELENOR KERO MUMKIN” show.
Now what this advertisement is about? It is a doorway for every Pakistani to come and speak out, to make new visions and to conquer new paths for the betterment of our nation. The narrator “Zia Mohiuddin” one of my favorite anchor person, tells us an example; example of how an individual had a vision and how he made that possible by continuous struggle, a struggle with a passion, a struggle with an objective to bring in a change in the lives of our people.
That example is of a Vice Chancellor of Baluchistan University who had a vision – to educate the people of Baluchistan. For this he came up with a thought.
The thought was: The graduation degrees will be given to those students only who have completed 6 months of teaching in any village of the province.
Such a thoughtful, encouraging and bold step that this man took for educating the nation.
All the credit goes to TELENOR for coming up with such a nice and thought provoking idea for gathering the entire nation and giving them a chance to speak out for the betterment of Pakistan. I would suggest every Pakistani not to miss this chance and submit their ideas and thoughts to make Pakistan a better nation in every way.
Remember to Come out and speak!
